Tease To Please Turns 1O! Laci Reflects on the Past Decade of TTP

I believe that the key to achieving success is the company you keep. From the beginning, I surrounded myself with friends and family that support and encourage me. I also built a talented team that I could grow and learn with to serve even more brides/clients. We’ve worked alongside vendors/businesses who support Tease to Please and we can support in turn. And, of course, having an incredible mentor and business coach has been invaluable. As the saying goes,

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

What sets Tease to Please apart from others in the bridal industry is our dedication to professionalism, our heart for people, our artistry, our commitment to learning and growing, and our exceptional organizational processes. For us, it’s not just about creating amazing hair and makeup looks – it’s about providing top-notch customer service, organization, & serving our brides/clients. We prioritize it all! When I started Tease to Please, I had a goal of booking 7 weddings, but I ended up booking 50! Over the past decade, we have grown to book over 700 weddings and have expanded from 2 artists to 60+. I have also been able to build a management team of 10 to help with the backend of the business, which has allowed me to focus on being an artist and growing the business even more. Watching Tease to Please grow and provide for so many others has been such a blessing, and being able to use our gifts to help people look and feel their best on their special day is incredibly rewarding. Of course, running a business is never easy, especially with the pandemic in 2020. But with the bridal industry, even the toughest days are still so special. When things are challenging, I lean on my supportive team and remind myself that anyone who runs a business knows it comes with its own set of challenges. The key is to keep pushing through and never giving up!

Any second I can shout out my incredible team I will! Some of them have been with me since the beginning, and some have joined more recently. Regardless, they have all impacted my life and business in so many ways. Not only do they support and care for each other, but they also go above and beyond to pamper our brides. When I started Tease to Please in 2013, I wanted to share my gifts with as many people as possible. Seeing the talent within my team and how they choose to work in an industry where they are mainly working on weekends and being a part of someone’s special occasion is truly amazing. I am so honored to work with them and watch them grow and share their gifts. Their talent is undeniable, and I appreciate them more than words can express!
